🌿 CHAPTER FIVE (continued)

THE 31 CORE QUESTIONS — EXPANDED INQUIRY (21–31)

❖ Question 21 — How long can I remain in PureMind before thinking resumes?

This question is not about duration.
It is about noticing the shift.

Thinking is not the enemy.
Thought simply resumes because that is its nature.

What matters is how you relate to the return of thinking.

When PureMind begins to stabilize:

  • thoughts come, but feel transparent

  • the sense of “I” does not cling to them

  • spaciousness remains even when thinking is present

  • awareness becomes the background, thoughts the foreground

Your goal is not to stop thinking.
Your goal is to see thinking from PureMind.

PureMind is the sky.
Thinking is the weather.

❖ Question 22 — What pulls me out of PureMind most easily?

This question reveals your unique conditioning.

Common forces that pull people out include:

  • fear

  • urgency

  • shame

  • self-judgment

  • body tension

  • unresolved emotional patterns

  • overwhelm

  • identification with past or future

Identifying your personal “pulls” is not failure —
it is liberation.
Once seen, they lose power.

PureMind does not fight your patterns.
It illuminates them.

❖ Question 23 — What gently returns me the fastest?

This is one of the most important discoveries.

For some:

  • the word “PureMind” itself

  • a single deeper breath

  • touching the belly

  • placing a hand over the heart

  • relaxing the shoulders

  • softening the eyes

  • repeating “I am here”

  • noticing awareness noticing

Find your return doorway.
Then use it with tenderness.

PureMind is never far.
It is always one softening away.

❖ Question 24 — How can I bring PureMind into simple daily tasks?

This shifts PureMind from occasional to continuous.

Try:

  • walking with awareness in the feet

  • feeling your breath while waiting

  • relaxing the face while listening

  • softening your belly before speaking

  • sensing spaciousness while cooking

  • pausing for one PureMind breath before responding

  • observing thoughts while doing chores

PureMind does not require isolation.
It thrives in ordinariness.

The more ordinary the moment,
the more sacred the practice.

❖ Question 25 — Is PureMind available in difficult emotions? Or only peaceful ones?

At first, it may seem like PureMind is only accessible when you feel calm.

But over time, you will discover:

PureMind is most powerful precisely in difficulty.

Why?

Because PureMind does not resist emotion.
It allows it.
When fear or grief or anger arises, PureMind says:

“You can be here too.”

Difficult emotions do not block PureMind.
They reveal where the heart longs to be met with awareness.

❖ Question 26 — Can I speak or listen from PureMind?

This is the beginning of embodiment.

Speaking from PureMind feels like:

  • slowing down

  • choosing truth over performance

  • feeling grounded

  • speaking with warmth

  • allowing silence

Listening from PureMind feels like:

  • hearing the other’s words and their being

  • not preparing your response

  • sensing spaciousness around the conversation

  • receiving without reacting

PureMind brings love into communication naturally.

❖ Question 27 — Can PureMind kindnessly shape my self-talk?

Yes — and this is one of the great gifts.

When self-talk comes from the conditioned mind, it feels like:

  • pressure

  • fear

  • striving

  • judgment

  • “not good enough”

When self-talk comes from PureMind, it feels like:

  • clarity

  • compassion

  • gentleness

  • support

  • kindness

Try this experiment:

Say inwardly:
“I should be better by now.”
Feel the contraction.

Then say inwardly:
“I am held in PureMind.”
Feel the opening.

Self-talk reveals the mind state.
PureMind transforms the tone of your inner life.

❖ Question 28 — How does PureMind want to express itself through me?

This question touches your deeper purpose.

PureMind expresses through:

  • your way of speaking

  • your way of helping

  • your way of creating

  • your presence in a room

  • your kindness toward others

  • the softness in your face

  • the compassion that moves naturally

PureMind changes your being,
and your being changes your actions.

Purpose becomes expression, not effort.

❖ Question 29 — What choices feel aligned with PureMind?

This is how PureMind guides daily life.

Aligned choices feel like:

  • openness

  • clarity

  • calm excitement

  • gentle rightness

  • no inner conflict

  • no need to justify

Misaligned choices feel like:

  • tightness

  • pressure

  • confusion

  • inner argument

  • heaviness

PureMind is a compass.
The body confirms.

Your life becomes simpler as alignment grows.

❖ Question 30 — What does it mean that PureMind has no fear, no past, no judgment — only clarity and love?

PureMind has:

  • no fear — because fear belongs to the conditioned mind

  • no past — because PureMind is outside time

  • no judgment — because PureMind sees clearly

  • only clarity — because truth does not distort

  • only love — because awareness without contraction is love

You do not need to “get rid of fear.”

You only need to relocate your identity
from the fearful mind
into the PureMind that is witnessing it.

Fear dissolves in the light of clarity.

❖ Question 31 — Is PureMind my true identity?

This question changes everything.

At first, PureMind feels like an experience you visit.

But eventually, PureMind reveals itself as:

  • your nature

  • your ground

  • your source

  • your home

  • the awareness behind all experience

When this insight deepens,
the sense of “I” shifts permanently:

From “I am a person having moments of clarity”
to
“I am PureMind experiencing a human life.”

This is liberation.
Not dramatic — but quietly life-changing.

PureMind is not something you practice.
PureMind is what you are
when everything false relaxes.
